As a supplement and alternative to the SK4 solar cooker, the wood saving stove WSS 2012 was developed.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">WSS<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>The Wood Saving Stove by EG-Solar e.V. is powerful, energy-efficient and safe.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The combustion is complete, almost without smoke.<\/li>\n<li>Compared to the three-stone fire, it consumes over 70% less firewood.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Objective in the development of the WSS:Simple construction,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of materials that are available on site,<\/li>\n<li>Production in small craft enterprises in the user countries, should also be possible without electrical power connection,<\/li>\n<li>User-friendly, should come close to traditional cooking habits,<\/li>\n<li>The embers generated during combustion are to be used,<\/li>\n<li>Existing pots are to be used,<\/li>\n<li>As little as possible harmful smoke,<\/li>\n<li>The safety in handling has to be ensured.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The WSS was developed together with pupils from the vocational schools Alt\u00f6tting.
